Job Description:
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from members of the public that are interested in being part of the temporary workforce that is needed for the upcoming Federal Election in the Gladstone region.
A Federal Election event requires a workforce of approximately 80,000 people across Australia. A large component of this workforce are temporary employees needed predominantly on election and weekend, however some positions will be longer term leading into, and post election.
Whilst the date of the election is unknown, we are seeking people for paid position at various locations across the Groom electorate on election day and for the Out Posted Centre based at Toolooa immediately following the polls closing.
The skills, experience and attributes we are seeking are as follows:
- Strong communication skills
- Punctual and reliable
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to interpret and follow procedure and policy
- Attention to detail
Training and support in all positions will be provided prior to election day , either online or face to face.
