About the Roles

First Grade Recruitment is seeking reliable landscaping workers across a range of experience levels.
Whether you have general landscaping experience, strong practical skills or experience leading a crew, we’d like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on your role and the project, duties may include:

• General landscaping, gardening and maintenance.
• Site preparation, digging, moving materials and site clean-up.
• Turf laying, planting, mulching and garden bed preparation.
• Assisting with paving, fencing and retaining wall construction.
• Safely operating hand tools, power tools and equipment.
• For leading hands: organising daily tasks, guiding a crew and helping deliver work safely and to a high standard.

About You

• Experience in landscaping, gardening, landscape construction or related labouring work.
• A reliable approach, positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Ability to undertake manual tasks in outdoor environments.
• For leading hands: previous experience leading a crew, allocating tasks and working with plans, set-outs and levels.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Current Construction White Card.
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport to work sites.
• MR licence and relevant machinery tickets are advantageous.
