Job Description
This federal government department is heavily involved in plant and animal quarantine and is currently seeking an experienced person to assist within the plant compound at their facility in Mickleham.
This facility safeguards Australia's highly favourable plant and animal health status. It is looking for hard working, flexible individual to join their plant team on a casual basis for 2 to 3 days per week.
Some of your duties will include but are not limited to:
This is a two to three day casual position and a qualification or experience in horticulture or nurseries would be highly regarded.

- Restocking gardening and horticulture supplies
- Some heavy lifting of soil and waste
- Mixing and applying chemicals for the area
- Cleaning glass and screen houses to biosecurity levels
- Laundry and other ad hoc duties
