825 Compactor w/GPS

We’re seeking an experienced 825 Compactor Operator with strong GPS capability to support our client on a major civil infrastructure upgrade in the Glass House Mountains, QLD.

About the role

You’ll be responsible for the safe, efficient and accurate operation of an 825 Compactor fitted with GPS technology on the B2N Upgrade Project. Our client has high expectations around production and quality, so we’re looking for a competent operator who can consistently deliver to spec and work as part of a tight-knit site team.
 
Key responsibilities

• Operate the 825 Compactor in line with project specifications and site safety requirements
• Use GPS technology to ensure accurate and consistent compaction
• Complete daily pre-start checks and promptly report any maintenance issues
• Follow all site procedures, safety rules and fatigue management requirements
• Work collaboratively with site supervisors and other plant operators to support smooth project progress

Mandatory requirements

• Current QLD RIW with SARC, WET and Fatigue modules
• Proven experience operating an 825 Compactor, ideally on civil infrastructure projects
• Demonstrated GPS competency on a compactor – this is essential, not optional
• Ability to meet site production and quality expectations
• Capacity to complete site-specific VOCs conducted onsite by our client
