About the role Our client is seeking a full-time Administration and Governance Support Officer to provide high-quality administrative, governance and movements support to a critical operational program.
You will play a key role in ensuring accurate reporting, policy compliance, financial governance and audit readiness are maintained to required standards. This role suits an organised professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain administrative and movements functions essential to the smooth running of operations.
- Coordinate complex domestic and international travel, including bookings, workflow management and post-travel certification.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures and financial governance requirements.
- Support audit readiness through accurate documentation, record-keeping and process oversight.
- Contribute to planning and performance processes in line with organisational procedures.
- Provide timely, specialist advice to working groups and key stakeholders as required.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships, contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Identify issues early and resolve them using initiative, sound judgement and strong attention to detail.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you will ideally demonstrate:
- Proven experience delivering administration and/or governance support in a complex environment.
- Experience coordinating travel and managing related workflows (domestic and international).
- Strong written communication skills for documentation, reporting and stakeholder correspondence.
- High level of organisation, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in an agile and geographically dispersed team environment.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures.
- Security Clearance: Minimum NV1 (essential).
Experience within government or a similar highly regulated environment will be highly regarded.
