Administration and Governance Support Officer
Location: Enoggera, QLD
Duration: 16 March 2026 – 15 March 2027
Extensions: Possible 2 × 12‑month extensions
Security Clearance: Minimum NV1

About the role   
Our client is seeking a full-time Administration and Governance Support Officer to provide high-quality administrative, governance and movements support to a critical operational program.


You will play a key role in ensuring accurate reporting, policy compliance, financial governance and audit readiness are maintained to required standards. This role suits an organised professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.


Key responsibilities
  • Maintain administrative and movements functions essential to the smooth running of operations.
  • Coordinate complex domestic and international travel, including bookings, workflow management and post-travel certification.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures and financial governance requirements.
  • Support audit readiness through accurate documentation, record-keeping and process oversight.
  • Contribute to planning and performance processes in line with organisational procedures.
  • Provide timely, specialist advice to working groups and key stakeholders as required.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships, contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Identify issues early and resolve them using initiative, sound judgement and strong attention to detail.
Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you will ideally demonstrate:
  • Proven experience delivering administration and/or governance support in a complex environment.
  • Experience coordinating travel and managing related workflows (domestic and international).
  • Strong written communication skills for documentation, reporting and stakeholder correspondence.
  • High level of organisation, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in an agile and geographically dispersed team environment.
  • Proven ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures.
  • Security Clearance: Minimum NV1 (essential).
Experience within government or a similar highly regulated environment will be highly regarded.
