Piling Offsider

Employment Type: Labour Hire via First Grade 

About the Role: We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Offsider to join our team for an upcoming civil construction project in Caloundra. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil works and be comfortable working in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily site operations and support the lead operators and tradespeople
• Operate and assist with excavator tasks under supervision
• Perform dogman duties, including slinging and directing crane loads
• Support piling operations and other foundational work
• Carry out general civil construction tasks such as concreting and steel fixing
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Required Experience:

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in civil construction
• Proven experience operating or assisting with:
  • Excavators
  • Dogman duties
  • Piling operations
  • Concreting and steel fixing

Ideal Candidate:

• Based on the Sunshine Coast or northern suburbs of Brisbane
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Holds relevant tickets and licenses (e.g., Dogman ticket, Excavator ticket)
